Our first priority will be to get you’re website up and running. Your website has one purpose; to capture the contact details of those who might be interested in what you offer. You’ll notice that each one of our websites has a prominent form displaying- which asks the viewer to leave their name, email, and phone number.

Usually as an incentive for leaving their details, we offer something of value. This can be anything…a free report, a series of videos, or even a 7 day Free trial of this membersite. Think of your website as a virtual storefront to your business. It’s the first impression your potential customers will have of you, and it’s here that they’ll decide whether they might be interested in doing business with you.

Usually upon joining LifePath, you’re left to purchase your own lead generating website, and depending on the quality, this can cost you hundreds of dollars. But as a member of Home Business Builders, we provide you with your own lead generating website, and it’s completely FREE.  Also, whenever you introduce a new member to our team, we’ll build them a website as well!

The only thing you’ll need to pay for is your domain name (eg. www.HomeBusinessBuilders.com.au) and hosting (the storing of the files that make up your website).

To purchase a  .com or  .com.au domain name, just go to www.crazydomains.com.au, and you can buy one for under $15 for the year.  If you want to purchase a  .com.au name (recommended), you’ll need an Australian Business Number.  If you don’t already have one, you can pick one up for free at the Australian Business Register.  An ABN generally takes a week to process, so if you need one you’ll have to put off getting your website for a while- but there will be plenty of other activities and things to learn in the meantime.

When choosing a domain name, have a think about what you want your business to be about….do you want to focus on the money side of the business, or rather on the personal development nature of the products? Or perhaps you want to focus on your own niche market- (eg. stay- at- home- mums), in which case you could incorporate that into your business name (eg. www.mumshomebusiness.com.au).

But don’t stress too much over getting the perfect name- you can always buy another one down the track, they’re pretty cheap.

Choosing Your Website (Landing Page)

Now the fun part- designing your website. If you look at the menu across the top of this page, you’ll see ’Support For Members.’  Under that tab is the Free Websites link.  

You are able to customize your header, your video, your opt-in form (this is how you’ll collect your leads and their contact details) and you can also add your own photo.

We are quite flexible when it comes to customising your site, so if you have any special requests, like using your own video rather than ours, then just ask).

Once you’ve chosen a design, send the details to support@homebusinessbuilders.com.au and we can have your website ready to go in 24 hours.  We’ll also need your hosting username and password, so we can upload your website.

Just remember that your hosting account and your domain account are two different things, so they’ll have different login details.  Your hosting account details usually take 24 hours to get approved- you’ll then get an email with the subject line “Your hosting has been approved,” and that’s the email you’ll want to forward on to us.
