Matt’s comments on Starting A LifePath Unlimited Business….

My first weeks were a real struggle …  I didn’t have the faintest idea what I was doing (before I go into this I was running a Gardening business), so there was a pretty steep learning curve for me.  When it came to doing the technical stuff, like purchasing hosting and a domain name, and getting my first website, it all seemed a little over my head, and I wondered whether  or not I was going to be able to make this work.  But the harder things got, the more determined I became to make this work.

It was in these first few testing weeks that I could see why so many people struggle in this industry.  For many people, when they can’t see their desired results on the horizon, they become disillusioned and start to have doubts.  Those doubts soon start to eat away at them, and many will give up too soon.  But if I could give you just one piece of advice, it would be to keep on working at this, no matter what.  Starting a home based business can be pretty daunting at first, but if you can consistently take action every day in the direction of your goals, then eventaully you will succeed.  It’s just a matter of time.   The only way you can fail in this business is by giving up; there is no other way.

When starting out, it’s important to set aside regular time intervals to work on your mindset in order to maintain motivation and momentum. Being a part of a community that is working through similar issues at the same time is also very encouraging. What I did find as I kept pushing through, is that slowly things started working and as I look back I realise how much progress I have actually made. Not only is HBB set up to provide emotional support, but hopefully the practical support it provides will also cut weeks off that initial learning curve for each joining member.

While technology can be very frustrating, it is nothing compared to the time and financial commitment of setting up a bricks and mortar business. Each of us is setting up a small business that would normally take months to launch if it was a bricks and mortar business. Think of yourself as a small business owner that is in the process of setting up different departments and functions. The following steps expand on the brick and mortar business analogy:

Step 1: plugging into HBB is a bit like joining a small business association and connecting with like- minded business owners.

Step 2: personal power time is developing that entrepreneurial and determined mindset that says: “every challenge is a learning opportunity and as I learn I will make progress”. The key here is consistent and persistent action!

Step 3: your website is like your shop front

Step 4: familiarise yourself with your business and how to run it behind the scenes is like developing your industry knowledge and setting a back office system.

Step 5: Marketing and sales = the rise and fall of any business!!!!

Step 6: getting members or Potential Business Partners plugged in to the Home Business Builders system is where the growing and duplication of your business begins.  In a way, what we are doing is kind of like what  Ray Kroc, founder of the McDonalds chain did.  When Kroc took over the small scale operations of McDonalds in 1954, he had a vision of building it into a worldwide empire.  He developed systems that he could duplicate, then set about finding good franchisees who would share his vision.  What we are doing in this business is very similar.  We are actively searching for strong business builders to help us expand our team.  And our results will be a direct result of the quality of members we attract.

Download and print out the 5 Principles of Success – Self Evaluation Form document from your LifePath Unlimited back office (You can find this at www.yoursite.lifepathunlimited.com). Complete this form. This evaluation tool will help you to focus your efforts on creating success in every aspect of your life. It is advisable to re-evaluate often to re-focus your efforts. 4. Your Personal WHY?

Now that you have begun to get your LifePath business off the ground, it is time to discover “what is your WHY”. Whatever has your heart, focus, passion, dreams, and desires, is your WHY. Holding onto the vision for your WHY and the results you are seeking in your life will give you the key to your success: YOUR MINDSET!

The development of a strong mindset comes from the creation and motivation of positive thought patterns. This allows your individual idea of success to be formed and put into action. I encourage you to dream again, that is, what makes you who you are: the dreams and goals which lie deep in your heart. When you dream, you dare to reach to the extraordinary, to reach to who you really are!

You can do it! Dream Big, Reach High, and LIVE like you have never lived before. Don’t let anything stop you from going to the next level.

5. Think and Grow Rich
Download and print off this Free Copy of Think And Grow Rich, and read it over the next week.  Many of the worlds wealthiest people reference this book as being a major part of their success.  Just remember to implement what you learn.

Also I recently came across a really cool tool for manifesting your desires. It’s called Mind Movies. Basically it creates your own personalised videos that you watch each day to help turn your dreams and desires into reality. Sounds a little too easy I know, but trust me it works. Since I began watching mine every day, the results have astonished me.

6. Live LPU Associate Training Calls
